How to submit a ticket?

This article explains the four ways that you can submit a ticket

Submit a ticket

All users can submit a ticket for support via the tech support web portal. Once you submit a ticket you will get an automated email response with a ticket number and you can also check the status of the email. 


  1. Navigate your web browser to https://huusd.freshdesk.com/ 

  2. Click the button under the search bar to create a New Support Ticket  

  3. Fill in all required fields, they are marked with a red *

  4. Please be specific in your description, providing context helps us troubleshoot your issue faster

    1. You can also click the +Attach a file below the subscription box to include a screenshot or short video clip of the problem 

  5. Click the blue “Submit” button at the bottom of the page

  6. You will receive an automated email with your issue number and a link to check the status

Example:

The HUUSD Website

  1. Navigate your browser to www.huusd.org 
  2. Hover over 'Departments" and click 'IT & Telecommunications 
  3. Click the 'HUUSD Helpdesk' link in the right hand side call out box 
  4. Follow the steps in "Submit a ticket" 

The Waffle

  • Click on the "Waffle"  in Chrome 

  • Scroll down and select the Freshdesk icon 

  • Click the Sign in: 'Google' button 

  • Follow the steps in "Submit a ticket"  

Email

Submitting a ticket through the ticket form, as described above, gives us the most information possible and increases our ability to expedite your request. It also provides you a chance to view any relevant knowledge base articles which may address your request. 


Anyone with an @huusd.org email address can email the helpdesk at any time. Once you send the email you will receive an automated email reply with your issue number and a link to check the status. 

  1. In your huusd.org email click 'Compose' to open a new email

  2. In the Recipients field type “Helpdesk” 

  3. Select “HUUSD-Helpdesk”

    1. The email is helpdesk@huusd.org

  4.  Compose your message, please be as specific as possible, providing context helps us troubleshoot your issue faster

    1. You can attach a screenshot or short video of your issue and attach it

  5. Click “Send” 

  6. You will receive an automated email with your issue number and a link to check the status
